Recently, a hands-on training workshop on adolescent counselling skills was conducted. The highly engaging two-day event was held on December 13th and 14th, 2025. Furthermore, it was hosted at Healing Minds: Centre for Counselling and Education, located at 27B, Baishnabghata Byelane, Kolkata.
Key Skills Were Learned by Participants
During the event, many important clinical topics were explored by the attendees. First, the complex issues, challenges, and disorders in adolescents were deeply understood. Next, the proper management of interpersonal relationships in teens was taught. In addition, step-by-step guidance for making the right career choices was provided.
Moreover, psychometric tools needed for adolescent counselling and guidance were reviewed. Finally, the entire counselling process was practiced and observed through engaging role plays.
Great Support Was Given to Attendees
The specialized session was attended by psychologists, counsellors, teachers, social workers, and psychology students.
