Recently, a special Kids Workshop on Life Skills was successfully completed. Specifically, it was designed for children aged 5 to 13 years. Furthermore, the event was held on the 25th of May, 2025. The session was run from 10 am to 1 pm.
The workshop was hosted at Healing Minds: Centre for Counselling & Education. The exact address is 27B, Baishnabghata Byelane, Kolkata 700047. During the event, families from nearby areas like Garia, Patuli, Baghajatin, Jadavpur, Naktala, Tollygunge, and Sonarpur were warmly welcomed.
Important Skills Were Learned by Children
Throughout the morning, many vital lessons were taught to the young attendees. First, social skills, resilience, confidence, and self esteem building were learned. Next, the serious issue of overcoming mobile phone addiction was focused on.
How were these complex ideas taught? Effectively, play and art therapy practice were used by our experts. Because of this, the learning process was made fun and highly engaging for the children.

To attend the event, a registration fee of Rs. 700 was paid by the participants. Fortunately, tasty snacks were included in this fee. Therefore, good energy levels were easily maintained by the kids throughout the session.
