They say toys become words and play becomes language. Over the course of four intensive, immersive days, our Baishnabghata center bore witness to the transformative power of this principle. This approach guides our child-focused work in therapy sessions.
Healing Minds C.C.E. has completed our four-day offline certificate course. It covered a Play Therapy (Basic Level) module across August 22, 23, 29, and 30, 2026. This marks the completion of the play therapy course Kolkata.
Led by esteemed Play Therapist Ms. Sahanaj Reja (Samikshani Mental Health Center, Jadavpur University, Swayam), the workshop drew an enthusiastic cohort of psychologists, educators, special educators, students, and practitioners.
They were committed to advancing child mental health and emotional development, and this program is part of the play therapy course Kolkata.

- Theoretical Foundations in Action: Attendees unpacked Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Cognitive-Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT), and attachment dynamics to decode childhood behaviors.
- Playroom Architecture: Hands-on demonstrations on setting up a developmental playroom, curating therapeutic toy sets, and establishing firm emotional and psychological boundaries.
- Decoding Symbolic Play: Practical case studies highlighting how grief, abuse, anxiety, and neurodivergence manifest quietly within a child’s symbolic play patterns.
- Facilitative Skills & Filial Therapy: Practicing reflective listening, tracking themes without steering the child, and working closely with parents to sustain emotional progress at home.
