Held on Saturday, 20th December 2025, this highly engaging 4-hour training session took place at our Baishnabghata Byelane clinic in Kolkata.
The workshop brought together a dedicated group of active counsellors, practicing psychologists, and psychology students who were eager to refine their therapeutic approach and deepen their clinical skills.
Workshop Highlights & Core Learnings
Running from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the session was designed to move beyond basic theory, focusing heavily on the practical applications of Carl Rogers’ person-centered approach. During the workshop, participants explored and practiced:
- Core Therapeutic Conditions: Developing unconditional positive regard, genuine empathy, and congruence in the therapy room.
- Active Listening & Reflection: Mastering techniques to help clients feel truly heard and understood without judgment.
- Facilitating Self-Discovery: Learning how to guide clients toward their own solutions and personal growth.
- Real-World Application: Engaging in practical exercises and discussions to seamlessly integrate these techniques into everyday counselling practice.
To recognize their dedication to professional development, all attendees were awarded an official Certificate of Completion at the end of the session.
