Healing Minds: Centre for Counselling and Education successfully concluded an intensive, two-day training workshop on the Rorschach Ink Blot Test using Klopfer’s method.
Held over the weekend on the 26th and 27th of July 2025, this training took place from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM at our South Kolkata clinic located at 27B, Baishnabghata Byelane. The workshop welcomed a dedicated group of psychology students, counselling course students, and practicing counsellors and psychologists.
Comprehensive Training Modules
The comprehensive curriculum was designed to provide professionals with the exact skills needed to confidently use this complex projective test. The training included:
- A foundational orientation to the Rorschach Inkblot Test.
- Step-by-step preparation and administration of the test, including live demonstrations.
- Detailed guidance on the rigorous scoring and calculations required by Klopfer’s method.
- Clinical interpretation of the final results.
Expert Guidance
The training was expertly led by our designated Resource Person, Ms. Sucheta Chowdhury, a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist. Her deep clinical experience brought immense practical value, especially during the intricate scoring and interpretation phases of the workshop.
A Rewarding Learning Experience
To ensure a comfortable and highly focused learning environment, all participants were provided with lunch during the afternoon sessions. At the end of the second day, attendees received official certificates recognizing their new competencies in psychometric testing.
