Healing Minds: Centre for Counselling and Education recently concluded a highly successful, two-day Workshop on Career Counselling on 14th and 15th September 2024.
Held at our dedicated clinic in Baishnabghata Byelane, Kolkata, the event brought together a passionate group of graduates, active counsellors, psychologists, teachers, and social workers. With an exclusive batch limit of just 15 seats, the workshop provided a highly focused, interactive environment for professionals who work closely with students and young adults.
Workshop Highlights & Core Assessments
Running from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days, the workshop was deeply rooted in hands-on practical training rather than just theoretical lectures. Led by experienced psychologists and career counsellors, participants were trained in the rigorous assessment of four critical pillars of career guidance:
- Personality: Understanding individual traits and how they align with specific work environments.
- Interest: Identifying true passions and occupational preferences.
- Aptitude: Evaluating natural abilities and potential for skill acquisition.
