Recently, an inspiring Storytelling Workshop was successfully hosted in South Kolkata. Specifically, this unique healing event was held on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Furthermore, the session was conducted in the afternoon, from 2 pm to 5 pm. The event was organized at Healing Minds: Centre for Counselling and Education, which is located at 27B, Baishnabghata Byelane, Kolkata-700047. Consequently, attendees from nearby areas like Garia, Patuli, Jadavpur, and Santoshpur were easily welcomed.
Important Therapy Skills Were Learned
During this Storytelling Workshop, many important therapy skills were learned by the participants. First, the introduction to storytelling as a means of therapy was thoroughly covered. Next, the concept of the life story was deeply explored. In addition, advanced techniques like externalisation and the use of metaphors were taught.
Moreover, the application of stories for dealing with common challenges, such as stress, anxiety, and low mood, was discussed. Finally, stories as a powerful medium for self-care were practiced by the group.
Great Support Was Provided by Experts
The session was expertly facilitated by Devdeep Majumdar, who is a respected Psychological Counsellor, Mythologist, and Lawyer. To join the event, a small registration fee of Rs 500 was paid by the attendees. Fortunately, official certificates were provided to all participants at the end of the day.
